Nagios

Nagios is a free modular software for monitoring complex IT systems (GPL). The measured values are collected by modules (usually written in Perl) that can extend the functional scope of Nagios as desired (a Nagios plugin is available for all IP thermometers from Didactum). Nagios requires a web server, PHP and the GCC compiler.
